THE PERSIAN PAISLEY COLLECTION IS THE CLASSICAL LOOK OF SARA MIRZA. IT WAS INTENDED TO BE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE RICH PERSIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE WITH ITS “TERMEH” TORSO, THE TRADITIONAL PERSIAN FABRIC, AND THE COMBINATION OF FAUX FUR AND VELVET TO BE THE INDICATION OF ITS PROUD CANADIAN IDENTITY.

MITRA, is a playful combination of contrasting colours and luxurious fabrics.
The piece consists of velvet Halter straps holding the metallic silver dress with the vivid colours and twisting Persian paisleys of Termeh.

MAH BANOU
“…This is a love story of a girl, who once upon a time, fell in love with the world. Fell in love with the glittering sunlight on sea water, the freedom of the wind on her skin, and the burning love of God’s smile in her heart. She was always brave, and never fearless, and she only belonged to her freedom.”
MAH BANOU, which translates into “The Lady of The Moon,” was introduced to be the classical look of Sara Mirza as it was intended to be representative of the rich Persian cultural heritage with its “Termeh” torso, the traditional Persian fabric, and the combination of Faux Fur and Velvet to be the indication of its proud Canadian identity.
MAH BANOU is a complete outfit consisting of a cocktail dress, a coat, a fur ring, and a shawl.
The design process starts with a dream, turned into a poem by Sara Mirza, describing an astonishing woman leaving everyone in wonder. The pieces are designed to emphasize her elegance, beauty and curiosity in her own unique way. She is never fearless, but always brave and forever timeless.

SRAOSHA was designed to blend old Hollywood glamour with Persian prints in this emerald green dress. The Halter strap piece is embellished with Swarovski Crystals on the middle panel of green Termeh and lined with red Charmeuse.

ZARA offers an effortlessly stylish design with the asymmetrical cut-out detail in vivid ocean green. The Termeh panel in the middle is meant to celebrate and exaggerate the female body shape in a subtle manner.

HOMA is named after a legendary bird in Persian mythology, believed to roam the high skies invisibly and never touch the ground. The piece is a combination of contrasting velvet for the upper torso and mint green Termeh. It was designed to create a comfortable style yet light and dramatic with the asymmetrical pattern of the torso.

“…High tides and the moonlight, that is all I can feel & her dazzling figure in jewels, is all I can see. The waves are banging against the balcony and shattered in drizzles. She reached for the stars on the edge of the balcony. Her arms were covered in deep blue velvet like the night sky. And it seemed that even the stars were in awe…”
DENA is a vivid representation of the woman it was designed for, stylish, sophisticated, and graceful.
The deep royal blue velvet combing with an intricate pattern of Termeh is a classic style of Sara Mirza. The piece is embellished with Swarovski Crystals in emerald green, cobalt blue and ruby red. The pleated panel in velvet around the skirt and the rectangular cut-out of the upper torso are the standard identifiers of a Sara Mirza dress.
